gconf cvs HEAD 'vicious-build-scripts' build fails on 'skipjack'

This isn't really a gnomehide issue, but I thought I'd mention it here since subscribers might also be doing this sort of thing. Building cvs HEAD gconf using a clean install of vicious-build-scripts fails after I updated my RedHat 7.2 + gnomehide box to 'skipjack'. I've attached an error log. I'd think the cause would be obvious to someone who knows anything about automake (I don't, yet).
