When I run rpm to install ev 108, it insists on mozilla-npsr-1.0.1.
What npsr is included with your approach?

Not when I tried it. I used the mozilla-1.0.0-9 packages, and below are
the only packages from Ximian I had to install on a stock Red Hat 7.3
system to be able to use the Ximian package of Evolution 1.0.8 and get
    link-clicking and printing to work:

    bonobo-conf-0.15-1.ximian.1
    evolution-1.0.8-1.ximian.1
    gal-0.19.3-1.ximian.3
    gal-devel-0.19.3-1.ximian.3
    gtkhtml-1.0.4-2.ximian.1
    gtkhtml-devel-1.0.4-2.ximian.1
    libbonobo-conf0-0.15-1.ximian.1
    libgal19-0.19.3-1.ximian.3
    libgtkhtml20-1.0.4-2.ximian.1
