"Gnome" and "Metacity"

Hello,

may be someone could give me a hint what's to do; in "RedHat 7.3" before 
i had found the window-manager named "sawfish", where i had found the 
possibility to set a key-binding for my own 'run shell-command' or so; 
but now in "Gnome2" it is the "metacity" window-manager and i don't know 
how to set the buttons right?

For a little help i would be lucky.
