Stopping Start here from autostarting

Where does Gnome (1.4? that came with RH 7.3) keep the items it runs when you 
login.  I have set it up to not restart the session but the "Start Here" 
keeps running when I login.  I'd like to stop that but couldn't find any 
place it autostarts.  If it's in the Gnome guide please let me know where.
