The dependencies will probably be quite numerous, but at least they are covered and should lead you to a functioning system with the added bonus of it all being covered under your normal package management. You will probably need to update a lot of the development environment such as GCC and the like which may lead to others, but in the end, it should be worth it. Gnome's site has a list of the order the pieces should be installed that you can use to guide you through the RPMS.
