Hi all
=20
Firstly I must admit to being a beginner in this game, with very patchy
to non existent knowledge.=20
=20
I have inherited a sun SPARCstation 10 with only a floppy disc (no cd)
and the usual network attachments etc and with redhat gnome installed.
the only issue is the previous owner (old network admin) departed
without leaving us the login details. I have research and found that
the recommended solution is to deleted the offending entries in the
passwd file. only one problem how to get to it. I have tried some
boot/root images and can get in but am unable to mount and access the
required scsi drives. Can anyone assist me with a simple (idiots guide)
to getting this reset so I can get the system up and running and learn a
little more about this.
=20
thanks in advance
