Hi, Something in gnome is corrupted in connection of reading 'png' image format. * If I want to use eog to see some png file I get the error: """Couldn't recognize the image file format for file""" With acrobat: """(acroread:21562): Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon for stock: Couldn't r ecognize the image file format for file '/usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/24x24/stock/ gtk-ok.png'""" * Most of my GUI software (acrobat reader, eog, etc) can not display their buttons defined in png format (just a red X) * firefox can open png image files * I have libpng10-1.0.16-1 and libpng-1.2.7-1.el4.2 installed * I have gnome 2.8.0 I just can not figure out what I did; or maybe it was not me...
