GNOME for pardus.

Hi,

First of all sorry for last message,I did (pardox) by accident.

We've been making unofficial GNOME packages for Pardus linux( 
http://www.pardus.org.tr/eng/index.html ) for a while (Pardus uses a 
different packaging system called PISI). Pardus is a KDE based distro but 
users are demanding to be able to use GNOME. By now, most important packages 
are made by contributors and some of Pardus developers ( 
http://svn.pardus.org.tr/pardus/playground/desktop/gnome ) and we can 
install GNOME on Pardus. Unfortunately, we're not experienced GNOME users 
and GNOME doesn't run properly with our packages. I will list some of the 
most important problems with our packages.

1) We can't see icons in gnome menus.
2) We can get e-mails with evolution but they don't show up in inbox.
3) mime types aren't recognized (eg. gedit can't open txt files by default)
4) gxmms applet gives this error when trying to add to panel:

The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_gxmmsApplet".

5) We can't run gnome-background-properties.
