Silvina, you (and I) believe in pluralism, but others do not. Since we believe in pluralism, we are not going to try to educate them. one of the problems with pluralism is what you do if one of the notions you want to give place to, is not ready to recognize or give place to any other notion (or, is not pluralistic)? This causes great problems in politics, and it may definitely cause serious and painful arguments in any community that wishes to give place to different people holding different notions and opinions. This is why in many governmental institutions political discussion and expression are forbidden. Also, I believe that the way to tolerance is through the ability to hold back your opinions and not express them, knowing that opinions are not so important as you want to believe they are. The way to free speech goes through voluntary silence. 2010/6/11 <[email protected]> > Send gnome-themes-list mailing list submissions to > [email protected] > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-themes-list > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > [email protected] > > You can reach the person managing the list at > [email protected] > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of gnome-themes-list digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
