gnome ui humble suggestion

Hi folks, Great job on the ui, and on the gnome project in general. Keep up... ! Ok, here's a quick suggestion that just came to my attention, I really don't know what it's worth. How about a functionnality that could display the contents of, say, a folder on the desktop; and one could imagine a 'cleanup desktop' button that would restore the usual desktop contents (home, cdrom, floppy, trash, etc...)
