Just one quick idea about this. Since a lot of the buttons gets grayed 
out and flocked down the bottom of the window, could it be good to try 
and make the ones that are relevant to the currently selected backup in 
the list show up close to that instead?
Kind of like how the Firefox addons window work (let me know if this 
breaks some a11y thing).

Documents                                       (./)
Last successful backup                   foo
Next scheduled backup                   bar
(remove) (edit) (restore) (backup now)

In the case of a item in the list with no backups done yet, the restore 
item wouldn't be there.

This is just bikeshedding I guess, all in all, great mockups!
