Synaptiks touchpads in notebooks are a pain in the way they are now, i
propose this:

1 - A simple way to diseble/enable them(not in kernel, jus ignoring their
signals): double tap on upper left corner.
2 - An option in configuration to make them work like a ps2 pad: Automaping
the pad and simulating right and left buttons and cursor movment area...
3 - More complex configuration to map use of corners, one oor two or thre
finger tappings, etc....
