So the second I start typing on the desktop my charectors that I have= already typed and am typing are immediately being inserted into the Activi= tes search with the Activities menu open. This idea isn't exactly original = as this works on my blackberry as well and I thought it would be amazing if= it worked in gnome since blackberry os and gnome 3 are actually very simil= ar in design.Just to clarify=2C the activites menu is the main menu trigger= ed by the hot corner on top left by default. Please make this idea into real= ity.For further clarification you can email me back ([email protected]) Bye=2CZeerak = --_f83741f5-b236-4d8c-b927-880c14c41eb1_ Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <html> <head> <style><!-- .hmmessage P { margin:0px=3B padding:0px } body.hmmessage { font-size: 10pt=3B font-family:Tahoma } --></style></head> <body class=3D'hmmessage'><div dir=3D'ltr'> Hey (developers)=2C<div>For a start=2C I would like to say that I really li= ke Gnome 3 and all the efforts you have put into it=2C keep going.</div><di= v>Here is my suggestion which I would really want to be implemented in the = next update/release or at least have an =3Bextension =3Bmade for it= .</div><div>The suggestion is:</div><div><br></div><div>Make it so that whe= n a user types anything while on desktop =2Cwithout anything selected=2C it= opens the  =3Bactivities menu and inserts whatever he/she typed on the= desktop into the search field.</div><div>Please make this transition seaml= ess.
