WebBrowser proxy settings

Hi,
I’m creating a custom web browser on Linux using Mono.
I’ve already installed all the components such as Mono, and gluzilla, but
when I try to connect from my browser to a web site (for instance
http://www.google.com) the connection is rejected and a MessageBox appears
with the following message: "www.google.com it could not be found. Please
check the name and try again". My system is behind a proxy, and the problem
is that I don't know how to set the proxy information.
I've tried to add the defaultproxy tag to the machine.config file, but the
browser doesn't work. I've also tried to set the http_proxy environment
variable with the same negative result.

How can I set the proxy information?

Thanks a lot.

Regards

Salvatore
