Hey, On my machine (openSuse 11.1) using 2.4/2.6 series it works fine. Basically our code tries to detect a property in the window manager to detect whether there's transparency support or not. So it should work *at least* in Linux. Could you elaborate more so we can try to figure out what's happening?
