2. XIMIAN EVOLUTION WINS LINUX JOURNAL AWARD

Ximian Evolution, the leading email and information management

Choice Award for Best Email Client. Over 7,500 readers visited the Linux
Journal web site and voted on their favorites in 28 categories between

3. PRESS, ANALYST PRAISE FOR NOVELL ACQUISITION OF XIMIAN
        
Since the August acquisition of Ximian by Novell, industry analysts and
press continue to praise the combination as key not only to the Novell
Linux strategy, but a major development for driving enterprise adoption
of Linux. eWeek called the acquisition by Novell “significant”,
“intriguing” and “pivotal to its future.” USA Today noted that “Novell
gets instant stature in the Linux community.” Industry analysts agreed,
with IDC's Al Gillen calling Novell and Ximian “a good fit overall” and
Evans Group's Nicholas Petreley echoing “that sounds like a good match
to me.”
