Hello.
I just tried following the instructions for installing
Ximian GNOME on Debian GNU/Linux 2.2 from here:
http://www.ximian.com/download/instructions.html?distribution=debian
When I do:
apt-get install task-ximian-gnome
it downloaded lots of packages successfully, but seemed
to barf on nautilus:
Err http://red-carpet.ximian.com stable/main nautilus 1.0.6-ximian.12
500 Internal Error
Failed to fetch http://red-carpet.ximian.com/debian/dists/potato/main/binary-i386/nautilus_1.0.6-ximian.12_i386.deb
500 Internal Error
Any ideas why this happens? Does this file actually
exist on the server? (It looks like the server's
failing for some reason.)
I reran apt-get with --fix-missing (as it suggested)
and it successfully upgraded lots of packages.
Thanks, regards,
