[Fwd: Any way to filter updates?]

A followup: if I can filter, any way to mask RH updates that conflict
with a Ximian version I have installed (like w/regexps or something)? 
Right now I have many Ximians installed (XD2) and some have been
altered.  I'd like to avoid grabbing a RH update that would overwrite
the altered Ximian version.

There's a number of things I have no intention of upgrading and would
like to filter them out of the list; any way to do that?  I'm using the
