For the last month or so, rcd has been eating 100% of my CPU resource on a continuous basis (for days!). I'm using version rcd-2.0.1-0.ximian.6.0 on RH9 (w/ XD2). After starting rcd, my system logs show: Feb 2 15:01:17 bryan rcd[22444]: Red Carpet Daemon 2.0.1 Feb 2 15:01:17 bryan rcd[22444]: Copyright (C) 2000-2003 Ximian Inc. The red-carpet dev-list indicates this is a benign error, so I've no idea what the problem is. I've tried re-installing rcd/rug/etc. with no improvement. I'm used to occasional gratuitous burst of rcd activity (for say 10 mins at a time), but this continuous action is un-ending. Can anyone help? cheers, Bryan -- Bryan Cole Teraview Ltd., 302-304 Cambridge Science Park, Milton Road, Cambridge CB4 0WG, United Kingdom. tel: +44 (1223) 435380 / 435386 (direct-dial) fax: +44 (1223) 435382 _______________________________________________ red-carpet maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/red-carpet
