Missing channels in rc

I recently re-installed red hat 9, and ximian desktop 2. I downloaded the
XD2 files from a mirror ftp, and installed xd2 from this folder. Everything
seemed to go ok.

When I went into red carpet 2, I have no channels, and only a the red-carpet
express service. Since I haven't bought a subscript to RCX I removed the
service and added the url http://red-carpet.ximian.com. It excepts the URL
ok, but no channels are displayed in the channel subscription. I added the
open-carpet url and the channels for that displayed fine.

Can anyone help me out?
