Mandrake update question

Hi,

When i look in my mandrake-update i have about 20 updates (bugfixes,
security fixes and normal updates) and when i look in red-carpet
"everything is up to date" how is this possible. Does red-carpet only do
security fixes or something? Cuz my evolution is a seperate channel and
that one has far moer frequent updates.
