[system-tools] Complaints about wrong password

Hello,

I tried to compile GST in ALT Linux Master 2.4 beta (Gnome 2.6.2). 
Compilation and installation went fine, but I'm unable to run it. When I 
try to run any tool as a user, it asks me for root password and then 
complains that the password is wrong though I know it is correct. When I 
try to run it as root, it doesn't ask for password but tells that the 
password is wrong anyway. How is it possible? How can I fix it?
