How often is the gnome 2 snapshot channel updated? The last build I was offered was from the 17th of July. Before that I was offered a snapshot just about every day for a week. Is it unpredictably sporadic depending on hacking and bug quashing activity? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alvin Thompson" <[email protected]> To: "Luis Villa" <[email protected]> Cc: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 24, 2002 3:51 PM Subject: Re: New Build > switching back to zvt at a later date is fine--just let us know before > you do, so we can skip those builds. :) > > -alvin > > > > Luis Villa wrote: > > >On Wed, 2002-07-24 at 15:59, jacob berkman wrote: > > > > > >>i'm happy to announce that we got a green build :) > >> > >>i'm currently pushing a new build for red hat 7.2 and 7.3 which seem to > >>have working menus[1]. > >> > >>new in this build is that gnome-terminal is using vte, the terminal > >>widget for gnome 2.2. it does nifty things like reflow of text when you > >>resize the terminal, and can do aa text. also the rendering bugs should > >>be gone :) > >> > >> > > > >FWIW, the snaps are using VTE ATM because > > > >(1) if RH is going to use it, I want it to be as robust as possible so > >as to minimize the impact on GNOME's bugzilla.
