Well, the problem is the spacing between the letters is inconsistent. Sometimes the letters crowd each other, sometimes they are far apart. I think, I when I get home tonight, I will perform a "clean" install of RH73 + Gnome 2 and see what happens, I have been fussing with this installation for a few months now, and I am sure some things are not what they should be. Since the only critical data on this box is the email, what is the easiet way to recreate my evolution folder? 1. simply back up and recopy the entire contents of the folder (~home/evolution) after reinstallation? 2. back up the mbox files and reimport them? along with the contacts database? thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cédric Marcone" <[email protected]> To: "J.
