Re: Termianl Font Woes - still garbeled

More on all this:

Running Gnome2 in XFT=1 mode: if I switch the desktop font to 12 pt 
monotype, Ms show up okay.  Not so in the terminal.  It's as if the 
terminal doesn't render the very same font in quite the same way as the 
rest of gnome2.  Don't know if that helps any.
