Hey there, I'm happy to be using the new Gnome2 snapshots, and I thank all the developers for their hard work. I've been tracking this channel for a couple of months now; I often install the latest snapshots. At some point, and I'm not sure when exactly, I lost some of the color functionality in gnome-terminal windows. If I open a terminal and do "ls", the files/folders listed are all the same color. If I do su (to any other user), then I get a color coded list. If I do ls on a text tty (ctl-alt-Fkey), then I get color. Is anyone else having this problem? I've done some looking through the config files in my home directory, but haven't found anything. I should mention that this happens to all users. Is this a known bug? Does anyone have a fix? Can I dig up more info. to help the developers squash this? I'm sure there's a really simple answer somewhere.... thx, ks _______________________________________________ gnome-2-snapshots maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/gnome-2-snapshots
