Upgrade question

Hi:

    This is not the question that was dismissed.   Since I got tired of waiting for Ximian to produce code of any kind for Gnome-2 I upgraded to Red Hat 8.0 (Psyche).   Still don't care for the Gnome desktop.   Any developer snaps in any way compatible with Red Hat 8.0??
