Hi,

I use Ximian desktop, the Gnome2 snapshots. Looks great and works pretty
well. I have one problem; The desktop doesn't seem to remember my
settings. I have a workspace shifter and have to tell it after each
reboot that I want 4 workspaces (it defaults to 1). The same sort of
problem happens with shells, I have to tell gnome every time that I want
to hide the menu bar (so midnight commander responds to F10). When I
shut down , I have 'save current setup' selected (although I have select
it every time I log out, you'd think that at least this settings is
remembered).
