(i think these packages aren't on the RC servers for some reason - they
might be on RCX though)

so a workaround: either from console or an xterm, run:

        gconftool-2 -s -t f /desktop/gnome/font_rendering/dpi 57

i'll be fixing this in the packages shortly.
