Yes.

We don't yet know what the default build will be.  You'll likely need
an Xft-enabled build, because we probably won't have the dynamic detection
of Xft2 in place by 1.2, and we really can't ship a mozilla.org build that
has a dynamic-link dep on Xft2.

Ximian might do that, though.  If I were them, I sure would. =)
