2.1 Observances

For the most part the new snaps are pretty nice. I expected more
problems than I'm experiencing. Some bugs I've found that haven't been
discussed:

GDM not scaling the graphical background correctly (libsvg problem?) 

terminal scaling fonts too small (other apps seem fine)

less a bug but show desktop applet doesn't fit into X Small panel so it
enlarges it, and it appears as a utility applet (add to panel menu-wise)
while search, run, and screenshot are all more top level.

Overall, it looks very good and it appears that the metacity crash is
gone.
