200210172030 Oddities

Here's a few odd things I'm experiencing and wonder if anyone else is:

GDM: The menus, (session, system), are all screen width wide.
     After logging in, the gmix app appears as a big gray box which
     you just quit out of on faith with ctrl-q.

Logout: The "logout, restart, shutdown" window never appears after the
        screen goes gray. You can also just hit return on faith and you
        get logged out.

I'm also have a memory leak somewhere. It could be somewhere in the
gnome2 snaps or in the Evolution Beta 2 but with just xmms, evolution,
and galeon running, I was up to 75% swap on a 512MB system with 512MB of
swap.
