does doing (as root):
/usr/bin/pango-querymodules > /etc/pango/pango.modules
fix it?
it seems like sometimes this hasn't been getting run even though it's in
the postinst. if someone is seeing this if they could post a log of
red-carpet running in a terminal i might see the error. i don't know
why i've not seen it.
