I'd love to figure this out too.  I compiled and installed all of the
tarballs in the official gnome 2.2 release and when I compiled mozilla
1.3b with xft and gtk2 I got the same error message...  google didn't
turn up anything and it doesn't seem to show in mozilla bugzilla.  I
suspect it may be something left over from my previously installed
ximian snaps but I dunno.
