two types of users here?

Maybe I'm smoking crack, but maybe that's not relevant... There seem to be two types of users here: 1) those who want to use GNOME2 as a stable desktop and 2) those who thirst for weekly snapshots, almost regardless of what they break, in order to preview every last new feature possible and help debug things. Presumably Ximian will release Ximian GNOME 2 at some point, however in the meantime it would be nice if official GNOME 2 releases could be made available somewhere, say in the Ximian Preview channel? I happen to fall into both categories, depending on what computer I'm using. During the day I want to live under GNOME2 on my laptop and at night I'm happy to hack potentially broken snapshots on my desktop machine. Any thoughts? Neil p.s. -- I tried GARNOME and it's a really impressive packaging, however I had font issues that I couldn't get past and it would be nice to have pre-built packages. _______________________________________________ gnome-2-snapshots maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/gnome-2-snapshots
