I updated recently to xd2 and found a few issues. Before going off and
filing bug reports I thought I would pass them by here.

number 1:
When you perform the following steps:

click on panel, add to panel, launcher from menu, favorites,
	openoffice.org, openoffice writer

a dialog box pops up indicating:

	/usr/lib/openoffice/share/ooo_writer.png

	is not found.

number 2:
If you go into System, select Personal Settings, select Network Proxies,
configure Manual proxy, and click on Details to specify the authentication
info the password field is display in clear text.

number 3:
the file /usr/lib/libaudiofile.la is not available. This results in
	grip-3.0.7 to not compile.

number 4:
The installation instructions described on the ximian website do not
work from behind a proxy. Here is what I had to do to install xd2.

First configure wget for proxy. Invoke the command line specified
on the ximian web site. The script would ask for the system to
load the installer from, after I selected the host the script would
immediately fail saying it required authentication, however, it
displayed the full path to the installer script. I cut and pasted
this path into a browser and downloaded the installer that way. I
then configured the installer for proxy and everything worked fine.

I installed all the components of xd2.

Anyway, if these have been reported before great, how do I go about
filing bug reports?

Other than these few issues I really like xd2.

Paolo
