First Timer to SOUP - Need Help Getting Started

Greetings,

I have just compiled and installed SOUP  0.7.4.1 on a FreeBSD 5.0 
machine. I am new to SOAP as well as SOUP, so.....  can anyone point me 
to come 'C' samples using SOUP. I am interested in some short samples 
that show how to open a socket/port and read a SOAP data stream (don't 
need code for a parser)  when a program (server side) is POSTED to.
