syncronous requests

hi,

	how can I send synchronous requests?

I've seen a soup_message_send function, but I'm wondering how can I read 
a SOAP response after sending a SOAP message.

PS: I need to avoid the g_main_run() main loop mechanism because 
I'm having strange behaviours. (i.e. an endless main loop that sucks all CPU
resources)
