I have 2 different versions of libsoup on my machine - Fedora Core 3
Initially I tried using libsoup - 2.1.8. I did the following things in the
src directory of libsoup
# ./configure --prefix=3D/<path to my folder>
# make
# make check

I don't get any results for the tests. It has nothing to do. How do I test
libsoup on my box? I also tried downloading libsoup - 2.2.6 on my box. I di=
d
clean up my earlier libsoup files by using the commands make clean and make
distclean from the source folder of libsoup 2.1.8
If i follow the open mentioned steps for the latest version, even then test=
s
are not executed.

If i execute the auth_test (the file generated) using the command
./auth-test. It displays the following and does nothing after that and is
stuck up after displaying the URL. Nor does it show the failure.
# ./auth-test
Test 1: No auth available, should fail
GET http://developer.ximian.com/test/soup-test/Basic/realm1/index.txt

can any1 please help me with this issue. I need to check libsoup on my box
and for that i need to run the tests which come with the package. Do i need
to do something more?
