I have to admit, I don't fully understand your question. And you are
pretty light on information. What Desktop are you using?


As you are already using Evolution, you seem to have Evo and its
dependencies installed.

Depending on your Desktop and packager, you might be missing some
(mostly minor) features, such as a complete MIME type icon theme or
spell checking. Maybe you have everything in place, though.

To connect to an Exchange server, you need to install Ximian Connector,
if not already done. Older versions still need a registration key for
proper functionality. Recent versions are free [1], but your distro
vendor does not necessarily ship an updated version.


Evolution will in no way be an Exchange *server* replacement. You will
need a couple of services (like IMAP, Sendmail, OpenLDAP) to accomplish
that.
