Is it reported yet yet? Please check bugzilla.ximian.com and file it, if
there is no such report. If you watch those bugs (Cc to them) you will
be noticed upon any progress.

If you want to assist in squashing any particular bug, feel free to
mention this in the bug, asking for advice on how to assist -- if you
can reproduce reliably.

Alternatively, you can talk to the hackers on the evolution-hackers
mailing list [1] on how to assist or ask such specialized questions on
the evolution mailing list [2]. LDAP hackers do hang out in either one.

Ximian Connector? There is no such thing as an "Out of Office"
notification in Evolution itself (which is good, IMHO ;-)

IIRC there is such an option available through Connector, cause the
actual "Out of Office" reply is a server thingy.

You probably will get the best answers to this (whether this is a bug or
not) in [1] or the Connector mailing list [3].

So what does "completely not usable" mean to you?

In the Contact Editor, Personal Information tab there is a Notes field.
It expands for me, when resizing this window.

The Card View does display this field always -- cut, if to wide. To see
the whole Note and any other information regarding a given Contact
(whether List View or Card View), enable the new and great Preview Pane
for Contacts:

If this does not solve your issues, please let us know, why it is not
usable to you...
