duplicate messages in inbox

Hi,

Had a small hick-up with my ISP and as a result I have up to 5 copies of
each individual message in my inbox. 
ie:-
5 messages from [email protected] 
5 messages from [email protected]
and so on :(

Is there any way to right a filter to remove duplicate messages.
