Robert,

Thank you for responding.  The redhat-network-config sees the wireless card as a wired lan card, not a wireless one.  I select add new hardware but the card is not in the list.  I did find one reference to this type of problem using google but there was not responce on how to address it.  I suspect the wrong module was loaded but there is no indication what module I should use.
