Gnome Theme Problem

Hi All,

Got a small problem after a small hic-up with my FS,  I can not change
my themes under Gnome 2.6.0.  All the themes seem to be installed in
Theme Preferences, but when I click on a new theme nothing happens :(

Any help appreciated,
