You are talking about the Shortcut Bar, left hand, where you could drop
Mail Folders, Address Books, and stuff?
Nope, this isn't available in 2.0. The Shortcut Bar is deprecated for a
lot of reasons (discussed to death on the Evolution mailing list). Maybe
this feature will be back some day, if it is implemented way better than
it used to.
Anyway, here is a workaround to have your most important folders
available next to each other:
* Create a vFolder for any folder you need. Source should be one folder
only. A Condition "Expression" "#t" means 'true' and will therefore
display all mails of the given source folders.
Unfortunately you can not drop mails on vFolders, but at least drag them
out of vFolders.
Another solution would be to re-arrange your mail folders hierarchy.
Like a node "important" or the Inbox itself with all those mail folders
as children (and all other mail folder not children of Inbox then).
