Hrmm, XHTML 2.0... I don't really think this is an issue for Evolution
or any other currently used end-user software.

If you really think, this is a bug, please file it in bugzilla [1].
Describe the issue in details, and be sure to mention that it is a
"regression" bug, if it actually is.

Discussing this might be better done on the Evolution mailing list [2],
as some of the developers are subscribed there.
