Yes, sure. Use HTML. :-)
FYI, at least the post I'm replying to is sent as (from the headers)
"Content-Type: text/plain". Plain text means just this -- plain text and
nothing else. Formatting needs some markup in any form, like HTML mails
provide.
To enable HTML format for single mails only, see the Composer's menu:
Format / HTML
If you *really* want to enable HTML format by default for any new mail,
there is an option:
Tools / Settings / Composer Preferences / General
[x] Format Messages in HTML
Please note, that there are mailing lists and individuals out there, who
really don't like HTML mails. In that case, you will need to manually
disable HTML format for those mails, if you do use HTML by default.
Feel free to use by default whatever you prefer personally, and change
this only when appropriate.
(I do prefer plain text mails FWIW, but that's just me -- although HTML
mails really do have advantages some times... :)
