Cool. I refreshed rug and can now see 2.6.4. So I chose to re-install gtk-sharp, which installed librsvg-2.6.4. Killed X again though. Same gray screen and hour glass. The hour glass isn't spinning this time though. Removed gtk-sharp and put old version of librsvg back on.
