Thanks for your responses.  I have expunged on that particular vFolder. 
When I do that, that message body goes away but the message listing,
From, To, Subject, etc. still shows.  The only way I can remove it is to
complete exit Evolution.  It's probably not a bad idea to do that every
so often anyway.
