FWIW, this problem is typically caused by trying to install from an RCX server without having a valid RCX account. The solution is to install from one of the mirrors. Unsupported distros generally produce an error stating that the installer is unable to identify the distribution (except in those rare cases where it's able to recognize the distribution as one we don't support). I'm afraid the whole /etc/redhat-release part of this thread was for naught. -Mark Gordon On Fri, 2004-04-02 at 17:44, Thomas Kraus-Rump wrote: > Hi (all), > for my first try to install 'Ximian' with: "wget -q -O - > http://go.Ximian.com|sh", as i red it from the web-side by "Red_Carpet", > it ends with the following message: "The installer was unable to find > any Ximian products for your operatin system"!
